FASHION IN OSLO: SO-B SS14: Statement streetstyle & music

Glamorøse smykker møtte musikk i forlokkende toner på nattklubben Raspoutine i Oslo søndag 26. januar. Børre Olsen viste sin tøffe streetstyle-inspirerte SO-B vår- og sommerkolleksjon for 2014 på sitt glitrende event i samarbeid med Nordic Breeze. Han har også laget en egen jeanslinje i samarbeid med Aller Agency Clothing & Accessories. Berømte stjerner ble invitert som gjester til eventet. Skuespiller Gary Dourdan fra TV-serien "CSI", saksofonist LuGotti, modell og DJ Maria Helena Baly og J. Lo's dansere og rapper kastet glans og glede med sine opptredener på nattklubben. Dourdan underholdt også som DJ. Børre Olsen fortalte om sin nye kolleksjon:

- Jeg er litt streetstyle selv og er ikke så nøye på hva som er in her og nå. Jeg liker å ha min egen stil. De store glam-smykkene med dødningshoder er med i SS14-kolleksjonen, men jeg har gjort smykkene mer anvendelige og litt mer street, så noen kan brukes hver dag. Jeg ville lage noe hip hop-inspirert, forteller den dyktige designeren.

Børre Olsen kom over en musikkvideo på YouTube med den spanske saksofonisten LuGotti for en tid tilbake. Han ble lamslått og ville få ham til sitt event - koste hva det koste ville!

- Er du vant til å blande musikk og mote?

- Det er ikke normalt for meg, men jeg har gjort noe liknende i Spania. Smykkene og denne partymusikken er en god kombinasjon. Jeg liker virkelig stilen hans. Alle smykkene har en vakker og kul stil, sier super-saksofonisten til Fashion in Oslo.

- Jeg elsker statement-smykkene! De er glamorøse med svarte steiner, kjettinger og dødningshoder. Han er ikke redd for gå helt ut. Han gjør alt og er virkelig modig, avslutter den vakre DJ-en fra Amsterdam, Maria Helena Baly.

Glamorous jewelry met music in alluring tones at The nightclub Raspoutine in Oslo Sunday 26th of January. Børre Olsen displayed his tough steetstyle inspired SO-B SS14 collection at his glowing event in collaborarion with Nordic Breeze. He's also made a jeans line in collaboration with Aller Agency Clothing & Accessories. Famous stars were invited as guests to the event. Actor Gary Dourdan from the TV series 'CSI', saxophone player LuGotti, model and DJ Maria Helena Baly and J. Lo's dancers and rapper entertained the guests. Dourdan was a DJ during the evening too. Børre Olsen talked about his new collection:

- I'm a little streetstyle myself and I'm not so consumed with what's in her and now. I like to have my own style. I've included the big glam jewelry with sculls in the SS14 collection, but I've also made the jewelry more versatile and street-like, so some of them can be used every day. I wanted to make something hip hop-inspired, the skilled designer explains.

Børre Olsen came across a video with the saxophone player LuGotti at YouTube and was instantly spellbound. He wanted to bring LuGotti to his event - no matter what cost!

- Are you used to mix music and fashion?

- It's not normal, but I've done something like this in Spain. This really smooth party music and jewelry is a good combination. I really like his style - the jewels have a beautiful and cool style, the Spanish super saxophonist says to Fashion in Oslo.

- I love the statement jewelry! They're glamorous with blacks stones, chains and sculls. He's not afraid to go all the way. He does it all and is really bold, the beautiful DJ and model from from Amsterdam, Maria Helena Baly finishes.
