The collections for autumn/winter 2013 was presented by the agency Polhem PR on Tuesday 23rd of April. They have many major and also some new and minor brands. Designer Kathrine Nørgård has very recently chosen this agency to represent her exclusive evening gowns and cocktail dresses for women and tailored suits for men. Marte Frisnes is also an up-and-coming and skilled jewelry designer, who displayed her gorgeous personal and romantic necklaces, bracelets and earrings in gold.
To summarize the trends for next season, based on what I saw at this press view, the following is evident:
- Prints from nature (branches and mountains)
- Leather jackets
- Decorated jackets and blazer with sparkling and matte gemstones
- Elegant and romantic evening gowns with lace and silk
- Geometrical and colored pattern
- Warm colors like dusted yellow, red, purple and rusty red
- More muted and classic colors like black, white, nude pink, grey, blue and brown
- Personal and small jewelry vs large statement necklaces and bracelets
