The luxurious Norwegian jewelry brand SO-B is launching it´s second collection in collaboration with the affordable commercial brand Glitter. The 21st of March, designer Børre Olsen and agents from Glitter, presented the fresh, colorful and spicy accessory collection at Restaurant Eik Annen Etage at Hotel Continental in Oslo. Polhem PR presented the press event with tasty canapés and cocktails.
This is Børre Olsen and SO-B´s second collection for Glitter. It´s inspired by the spring/summer 70´s bright colors. Pearls, crystals and sparkling stones are easily mixed in statement necklaces and bracelets. Børre says any female from the age of 12 to 70 will find pieces they like.
- What I´ve done this season, is mixing leather, plexi glass and lightweight metal. The whole collection is nickel free and clear of carbon dioxide. The skull, which is my speciality, is of course present, but in a more subdued manner, he said at the press launch.
Musician and actress Lene Nystrøm is the main model for the collection, which will be launched in the Glitter stores on April 25th.
- She´s not just a good friend, but also a big star. She actually made SO-B known six years ago, when she wore a skull necklace at Universal´s summer party. After she used it there, everybody wanted it, he continued.
Børre says that his mission for Glitter, is that every person who buys a piece from his collection, will feel great wearing it!
