Gina Tricot: Five years in Norway

The affordable, Swedish clothing chain Gina Tricot has already been in Norway for five years. That was celebrated with a big party on Thursday 6th of September 2012 in the twostoried store in Grensen in Oslo. The Magazine ELLE and PR agency Mildh Press offered cake, balloons and goodiebags, the fashion adventurers enjoyed the selection from this fall´s major trends.

DJ Mariann Thomassen played hip music. Fashion blogger Anette Haga and stylist/blogger Hedda Skoug each had their own rack with their selected favourites. Haga tells that you should invest in a nice and warm jacket, for example in burgundy. Heavy knits are also trendy this fall.

Designer look-alikes
Gina Tricot become more and more inspired by the major designers. For example, you can get a handbag or belt looking very much similar to those from Givenchy and Balmain. This method is steadily becoming usual among the affordable chain stores.

- Gina Tricot is known for that, and they´re proud of it. If you think about it, you get cool and trendy clothes for affordable prices, so I think it´s a good alternative, she said to Fashion in Oslo.
