FASHION IN OSLO: Zuzanna G´s blue world

På Grünerløkka i Oslo ligger det en liten blå perle av en butikk. «Daydreams & Pearls by Zuzanna G» i Markveien 34 gjenåpnet 8. mars. Smykkedesignerne Zuzanna Gregorowicz og Bartosz Skwiercynski har fått hjelp av stylist Tommy Løland til å gjøre interiørdesignet i sine butikker. Med en sjokkerende og lekker blåfarge kommer alle de flotte varene til sin rett.

- Her trengtes det en liten makeover og vi ville ha et mye mer definert konsept. Vi ble inspirert av kunstneren Yves Klein´s ultramarineblå farge og vi brukte gull i tillegg. Vi hadde lyst til å finne en farge som stod litt frem. Det var Tommy Lølands idé. Vi ville ha en mer edgy butikk, forteller Zuzanna.

Den franske kunstneren Yves Klein var spesielt kjent for sine monokrome bilder i en dypblå farge han døpte «Internationa Klein Blue». Tommy´s idé var en genistrek. Det ble en tidkrevende aktivitet å male gamle møbler blå - selv en sofa, men Zuzanna ville gi gamle ting nytt liv. Målet var at butikken skulle vise at de legger sin sjel i alt de gjør.

- Vi fikk en friskere, nyere og mer trendy butikk ved bruk av få hjelpemidler takket være Tommys geniale stilsans og kreativitet. Det er det jeg elsker ved å jobbe med Tommy - han er så kreativ, dyktig og sikker i sin smak og stil at det blir bra, sier den kreative smykkedesigneren.

Tommy Løland har også designet det unike smykkemerket «The Figurine» i samarbeid med Zuzanna G. «Daydreams & Pearls» har et bredt utvalg av smykker, clutcher, vesker, klær, lys, skjerf, sko, neglakk, parfymer og bikinier. Butikken er litt mer trendy og funky med noe lavere priser enn flaggskipbutikken i Helgesens gate 12 til 14. Ta deg en tur til Markveien 34 om du er glad i farger, for her vil du få vann i munn!

At Grünerløkka i Oslo lays a blue pearl of a store. Daydreams & Pearls by Zuzanna G in Markveien 34 reopened the 8th of March. The jewelry designers Zuzanna Gregorowicz and Bartosz Skwiercynski got help from the stylist Tommy Løland to do the interior design in their stores. With a shocking and gorgeous blue color, all the lovely items come to light.

- We needed a makeover and wanted to bring out a more defined concept. We were inspired by the artist Yves Klein´s ultra navy blue color and added some golden elements. We wanted a color that popped out. It was Tommy Løland´s idea. We wished to get a more edgy store, Zuzanna explains.

The French artist Yves Klein was particularly known for his monochrome paintings in a deep blue color he named International Klein Blue. Tommy´s idea was simply a paint stroke of genius. I took a lot of time to paint old furnitures blue - even a sofa, but Zuzanna wanted to give old things a new life. The goal was that the store should display that they put their sould into everything they do.

- We got a fresher, newer and more trendy store with few utilities thanks to Tommy´s genius sense of style and creativity. That´s what I love about Tommy, he´s so creative, skilled and confident in his style and taste that it turns out good, says the creative jewelry designer.

Tommy Løland has also designed the unique jewelry brand «The Figurine» in collaboration with Zuzanna G. Daydreams & Pearls have a grand selection of jewelry, clutches, handbags, clothes, candles, scarves, shoes, nail laquers, perfumes and bikinis. The store is slightly more trendy and funky with some lower prices than their brand store in Helgesens gate 12 to 14.
