Choke it up!

Chokers med silkebånd og fløyel har utrolig nok ikke blitt brukt av så mange i Norge enda, men dette bør vi gjøre noe med! I London flommer butikkene over av "choker"-smykker i alle varianter. Jeg kjøpte med meg et par fra Topshop. Disse kan man fint lage selv med kun litt tykt bånd kjøpt på hobbybutikk, nål og tråd, trykknapp og en liten brosje med nål. Voilá! Jeg kombinerer med en brosje fra Fretex Grünerløkka og et vintage-silkeskjerf fra Rokit. Det er lov å leke seg, ikke sant? Just choke it up!

Chokers with silk or velvet ribbons is a trend that has not been so evident in Norway yet, but we should do something with that! In London, several stores sell 'chokers' in different versions. I bought a couple from Topshop. You can easily make them yourself with a slightly thick ribbon bought at a hobby shop, needle and thread, a press stud and a small brooch with a needle. Voilá! I combine with a brooch from Fretex Grünerløkka and a vintage silk scarf from Rokit. It's allowed to play with combos, right? Just choke it up!
