Ja, hva skal vi si om været i Oslo om dagen? Like ustabilt som en trassig treåring, kanskje? I skrivende stund knitrer, braker og buldrer det verre enn på en heavy metal-konsert, og det regner katter og hunder. Det gikk faktisk til et punkt hvor jeg trengte en ny paraply. Den er fra Missoni og via agenturet Inside Too. Den får faktisk plass i en liten veske!

Jeg går også faktisk og lyster på en ny bunad, fordi jeg aldri har følt meg helt hjemme i den blå Løkendrakta fra Østfold. I 2014 falt jeg pladask for den lyseblå Oslobunaden (til høyre på bildet under). Oslodrakten kom først i 1947 og ble lansert i forbindelse med 150-årsjubileet til Steen & Strøm (les mer om historien her). I 2013 kom den i mørkeblå versjon også. Jeg liker den lyseblå vilt godt! Jeg føler meg også mye mer knyttet til Oslo enn Østfold, selv om jeg har bodd lengst i Østfold. Som blond vil jeg garantert se bedre ut i den lyseblå og vakre, sommerlige bunaden. Hva tenker dere? Burde jeg kjøpe den? Si gjerne ifra om dere kjenner noen som vil selge en lyseblå Oslobunad brukt!

What is there to say about the weather in Oslo these days? Equally unstable as a defiant three year old, perhaps? At this exact moment, it's crackling, rumbling and banging worse that on a heavy metal concert, and it's raining cats and dogs. I actually needed a new umbrella. It's from Missoni and via the agency Inside Too. It actually fits in a small handbag!

On the other hand, I actually want a new national costume, because I've never felt comfortable in my blue Løkendrakt from Østfold, Norway. In 2014 I fell in love with the pale blue Oslo costume (right at the photo below). It came in 1947 and was launched in honor of the 150 year anniversary of Steen & Strøm compartment store (read more about the history here). In 2013, a dark blue version was launched as well. I like the pale blue very well! I feel so much more related and happier about Oslo than I do with my birth area Østfold. As a light blonde, I will for sure look better in the light blue and summerly national costume. What do you think? Should I buy the pale blue Oslo costume? Please let me know if you know someone that will sell a used Oslo costume!
