Colors, drinks, food, music and fashion were fused in euphoria at Nivou nightclub in Oslo on Thursday 8th of November. A new Absolut Vodka Unique Edition was launched, and Ingunn Birkeland´s dancers in patchwork clothes danced at a stage and among the guests. Her IBO accessories and the designed bottles were displayed in glass cabinets.
The adventureous event was a multidisciplinary collaboration between DNA Events, Ingunn Birkeland Oslo, Polhem PR and Nivou & Tveaked. Glitchlight Studios displayed live-art on screen, DJ Christian Sol and a violinist entertained with urban nightclub music. Westerdahls Kantina offered ecological food, while Monica Berg mixed delicious cocktails.
- In which way do you think it was exciting to display your design in this way?
- It was a new format, and the colors of the new bottle were well suited for my IBO design. It is always useful to collaborate with others and see your own work in a new setting with other spectacles. To step outside your comfort sone and test yourself, the colorful designer Birkeland explains.

Unique Edition Event: Fargeutløsning
Farger, cocktails, musikk, mat og mote fusjonerte i eufori på nattklubben Nivou i Oslo torsdag 8. november. Den nye Absolut Vodka Unique Edition ble lansert, og Ingunn Birkelands dansere i fletteverksklær danset på scenen og mellom gjestene. Hennes IBO-tilbehør og de spesialdesignede flaskene var utstilt i glassmontere.Det utforskende eventet var et tverrfaglig samarbeid mellom DNA Events, Ingunn Birkeland Oslo, Polhem PR og Nivou & Tveaked. Glitchlight Studios viste frem live-kunst på lerret, DJ Christian Sol med fiolonist undehold med urban nattklubbmusikk. Westerdahls Kantina bød på økologisk fingermat, mens Monica Berg fristet med deilige cocktails.
- På hvilken måte synes du det var spennende å vise frem ditt design på denne måten?
- Det var et nytt format, og fargene i den nye flasken passet godt til IBOs design. Det er alltid nyttig å samarbeide med andre, og se sine egne arbeider i en ny setting og med andre briller. Gå litt utenfor komfortsonen og teste seg selv, forteller den kreative designeren.

| Designer Ingunn Birkeland says: - I think it´s interesting to see
that IBO performance works at totally different arenas, from gallery,
arts and crafts exhibition, shoe launch to a nightclub, and too see how
the models and dancers adjust to the environment and space. /Designer Ingunn Birkeland sier: - Jeg synes det er interessant å se at IBO performance fungerer på helt ulike arenaer, fra galleri, kunsthåndverkutstilling, skolanseringer til nattklubb, og også hvordan modellene og danserene tilpasser seg miljø og rom. |
