Weekday presenterte sin nyeste kolleksjon «MTWTFSS» på en shoppingkveld i samarbeid med Costume onsdag 22. februar. De påmeldte kunne boltre seg i lekre farger som hvitt, pudderrosa, aprikos, svart, blått og beige - og kjenne på de luksuriøse materialene. Dette er snitt som vil passe mange kroppsfasonger, og stilen er minimalistisk. De kan brukes som basisplagg, fordi de er såpass nøytrale at man kan blande de med det meste man har i skapet fra før. Herrekolleksjonen har utrolig enkle snitt og baserer seg mer på striper og ensfargede skjorter.
- Weekday fyller 10 år i år som merke og har lyst til å presentere noe helt nytt og mer ekslusivt til kundene sine. Denne kolleksjonen består av tidløse klassikere i ekstremt fin kvalitet med silke, skinn, kasjmir og bomull. Dette er også er klær man kan ta frem sesong etter sesong, forteller Ottilia Kaufmann, pressekontakt i Weekday.
Hun nevner skreddersydd, fokus på søm og godt utvalgte stoffer som stikkord når hun skal beskrive kolleksjonen.
- Hva er kolleksjonen inspirert av?
- Man ser tendenser til 30-tallet, med kjoler og trenchcoat. Det som er speiselt, er at klærne har veldig skarpe snitt og rene linjer. Det er nesten helt tidløst. Hvis man investerer i dette, er det en noe høyere prisklasse, men man kan ha det år etter år, poengterer Ottilia.
Weekday presented their newest collection «MTWTFSS» on a shopping night in collaboration with Costume Wednesday the 22nd of February. The participants could enjoy gorgeous colors like white, powder pink, apricot, black, blue and beige - and feel the luxurious fabrics. They can be used as basic items, because they´re so neutral that you can mix them with things you have in your closet from before. The male collection has very simple cuts and are more concentrated on stripes and single-colored t-shirts and shirts.
- Weekday turns 10 years as a brand this year and wants to present soemthing new and more exclusive for their costumers. This collection consists of timeless classics in extremely good quality with silk, leather, cashmere and cotton. These are also clothes you can use season after season, says Ottilia Kaufmann, press contact for Weekday.
She mentions tailored, focus on stitching and wisely selected fabrics as keywords when she describes the collection.
- What is the collection inspired by?
- You see tendencies for the 30´s, with the dresses and trenchcoat. What´s special, is that the clothes have very sharp cuts and clean lines. It´s almost totally timeless. If you´re investing in these items, the price range is higher, but you can have them year after year, Ottilia points out.
