Oslofolket våknet til regn søndag morgen, men vi ville ut fordi det var meldt sol. Jeg tok i alle fall sjansen og tok med meg to kofferter og en stor pose med klær, stativ og bord til Birkelunden marked. Venninnen min Tine kom helt fra Moss med en stor bag med klær. Vi stod under samme telttak som Sara og Christina - som solgte utrolig flotte klær og smykker. En veldig hyggelig dame solgte også smykker rett ved siden av oss. Sara tok med seg mange av de flotte kjelene sine også, så vi hadde mye å by på!
Tine og jeg solgte minst - kanskje en kombinasjon av mye regnvær og at vi sto på litt feil side, eller hadde plassert tingene feil. Vi er uansett veldig glad på Christinas vegne, som solgte nesten ALLE klærne sine! Hun hadde veldig kule, tøffe og urbane klær som slo an hos de fleste. Jeg kjøpte en oransje pusegenser fra Sara, som reddet meg gjennom den kalde dagen. Strikkede pusegensere og ribbestrikk er sikre vinnere denne høsten.
Tine og jeg prøver i stedet lykken på Grønland marked til lørdag, så da er det bare å komme innom mellom kl. 09.30 og 17.00! Da krysser vi fingre og tær for sol!

The people of Oslo woke up hearing the rain plash down outside on Sunday morning, but we wanted to get because the weather forecast said sunshine. I took my chances and brought two suitcases and a bag full of clothes, a clothing rack and a table down to Birkelunden market. My friend Tine came all the way from Moss with a bag of clothes. We stood under the same tent as Sara and Christina, that sold beautiful clothes and jewelry. A very nice lady sold jewelry in the same tent as us. Sara also brought many of her great kettles, so we had a lot to offer!
Tine and I sold very little - maybe a combination of the rain and our position standing the wrong way, or maybe out things weren´t put up right. However, we´re so happy for Christina, that sold almost ALL her clothes! She had very cool, rough and urban clothes that pleased most people. I bought an orange and soft knitted sweater from Sara, which saved me through the cold day. Knitted sweaters are a safe card this fall.
Tine and I go for a better day on Grønland market this Saturday, so it´s just to come by between 09.30 am and 17.00 pm! Fingers and toes crossed for sunshine!
