Burberry - Patterns and deep colors

Tirsdag ettermiddag viste designerhuset Burberry Prorsum sin damekolleksjon for våren og sommeren 2012 på London Fashion Week. Videoen viser flere av de prominente gjestene og høydepunktene fra catwalken. Mønstre og dype farger som lilla, brunt, beige, blått og mosegrønt var gjennomgående. Jeg liker at fargekombinasjonene står flott til hverandre, de store smykkene som tilbehør og trebit-detaljene på plaggene. Det er egentlig ganske slående hvor mange dype høstfarger Burberry viser, i motsetning til sterke farger og pasteller som har blitt vist hos mange andre designere. Det er spennende å se en annen retning under London Fashion Week!

Tuesday afternoon the fashion house Burberry Prorsum showed their spring/summer 2012 women´s collection at London Fashion Week. The video shows several of the A-list guests and the highlights from the catwalk. Patterns and deep colors like purple, brown, beige, blue and mossy green were repetitive. I like the matching color combinations, the big jewelry accessories and small pieces of wood on the garments. It´s actually quite striking how deep the colors were in the Burberry collection. It´s quite a contrast to many of the bright colors and pastels that has been shown by other designers. It´s exciting to see a different directon under London Fashion Week!
